- Electrodes applied: Three small sticky pads (ECG electrodes) are placed on your chest.
- Monitor connected: The electrodes connect to a small monitor that records your heart activity for 7 days.
- Patient diary: You’ll be given a diary to write down your daily activities and any symptoms.
- Symptom button: The monitor has a button you can press if you feel symptoms like chest pain or palpitations.
- Appointments:
- Fitting takes about 30 minutes
- Removal takes about 10 minutes
