Nurse Practitioner Maria Sigal, is a Registered Nurse who has undertaken additional university study at a Masters Degree Level.

Maria is currently practicing independently with the St Mary Medical Centre where she provides comprehensive care for patient of all ages with both acute and chronic health conditions since 2014. Over this time, she has developed broad clinical expertise and valuable experience in managing a wide range of medical presentations.

Maria has a special interest in Cardiometabolic disorders and has undertaken further studies in FH, Lp(a) and difficult to control LDL cholesterol management  and has joined NMLC to use that knowledge to facilitate medication optimisation, lifestyle counselling, Cascade screening for FH and Lp(a), and coordination into research studies and  genetic testing where appropriate.
